********** by Cell C after our 24 Months Relationship

I had a 24 months contract with Cell C, I was always paying what was due to them on time and they never had to remind me of payments not even once. In April I decided to terminate my contract since it was about to end and I called 2 months in advance to terminate since I was told I had to give them that allowance, when I called on Saturday 30 April around 14:00pm I spoke to an agent that assisted me in terminating the contract and I specifically asked the agent how many more payments do I need to make before it ends and she said 2 payments, which I automatically assumed it was April and May. End of June when I got a debit from Cell C I thought it was a mistake until it bounced back. I then took the liberty to call Cell C to find out why then they explained to me why I had to pay and whatsoever (Mind you my contract ended on the 12th of June but I had to pay the full amount that have been paying which I felt it was a total *******, day light *******) so because I wanted to maintain the clear record that I have with them, I then had to arrange for another debit on Monday 04 July 2016 @ around 16H00 and they told me once the original debit went off they cannot debit me again and then on Tuesday 05 July 2016 @ around 17H00 I was provided with an Easy Pay Account Number: ********** ********** 762706 , and I paid the balance at Checkers Centurion Lake Mall on the 5th of July. I then went to Cell C Centurion Lake mall to email the proof of payment, maybe 5 minutes difference from the time I paid.

However, my account was then debited again after I had paid because I was advised that one debit is scheduled per month, so again I was given incorrect information, so as a result, my account incurred charges of R132.57 because the debit bounced again. Since then I have been calling and emailing Cell C but to no vain. Every time I call I’m asked to repeat the same thing that I sent via email, I’m asked to email my proof of payment and bank statement as if they do not keep records or they either delete my claim once I hang up and do nothing about it.

I got emails from Aretha Hlako, sandile Khulu, Lerato Maleka to name a few telling me they will contact me in two business days and like I said it has been over 2 month.

I further sent emails ********** ********** I got the following reference numbers ,160 ********** 28, ********** 038 and till date, no one has contacted me and every time when I call to do follow ups, I get different information. Last time I called, the agent escalated my matter and today I spoke to one agent who said there is no information on the system, her email address **********

The last person I spoke to by the name of Londani Ndou ********** on Tuesday the 4th of Oct at 11:30am was insinuating that I should have used general knowledge and guessed that I had to pay Cell c although my relationship with Cell C was over. She made it sound that I was stupid for not knowing the work that she was trained to do. She even told me that no one was going to pay me back without even conduction a proper investigation. How on earth does a reputable company like Cell C operate?? They treat loyal and trusted clients like dirt and their consultants are even professional, Londani was trained on products and services offered by Cell c but instead of explaining politely she calls me an idiot. If it was too easy for everyone to guess then her post should be vacant because it is not necessary for her to be there, then Cell c will have to train all their customers.

Yes she has although I am not fully satisfied. The delay you took cost me money because my account has now fallen into arrears, the roller coaster that Cell C has put me through was really unnecessary after months of being a loyal and reliable client to them. My records shows that my payments were always made in full and on time but the way our relationship ended really pierced through my heart because. I showed willingness to settle the last payment eventhough the message conveyed to me was unclear or rather misleading but i cooperated, I paid 25 months instead of 24 months and instead of a THANK YOU i get ****** what is due to me by being sent from pillar to post. The unrpofessional agent i last spoke to on the 04/10/2016 at 11:30am by the name Londani Ndou was the cherry on, or rather salt on my wounded heart.

And I demand an apology from her for the way she spoke me and insinuating that i am not smart enough because i was not using my 'general knowledge", the knowledge that she was trained for but now she assumes its "general".. I sugest she gets more training on product and services because she was insiting that i am the one at fault without even conducting a proper investigation so this shows why i always had to explain my story when i call because people like her just decide to close the case when the client hangs up because she feels the client is stupi, she should also be trained on customer service and soft s****s to fix her bad attitude.
