******* - shocking

I bought my ipad through FNB which included a data contract for 2 years with Cell C @ R99-00 per month. Not realising my two years is over, Cell C started charging me R279.00 per month for exactly the same data bundle. I went to the Cell C shop in Clearwater mall on Sunday to query why they are deducting the amount of R279-00 per month. Then only they told me that my 2 year contract expired and this is what they now charge me. I immediately made a stop payment and called the Cell C call centre today to cancel the contract. <br> My question is why did this happen? Why not inform the client that this is going to happen? Why not cancel the contract automatically when the two years is up. The call centre told me that they will hand me over to the lawyers if I do not pay them as I need to give 30 days notice. They did not informed me, but I have to inform them for cancelling and then still wait 30 days? This is definitely not treating customer Fairly and I think that they should re-look their processes! No wonder that the complaints is over 8000 and hardly any compliments on HP. This is a ******* at R279 . Is their anyone else that is more expensive than Cell C - I don't think.
