Ridiculous business practices
Cell C is officially the worst cell phone operator in South Africa, first they drop calls in your ear , they are unable to give you their email address over the phone, you have to receive it by sms and then go copy that email into your emails to just send a proof of payment that was made a month ago. I recommend all users port your number to a different provider. They actually owe me money and acknowledge that so why the proof of payment in any case? When they want money it must be immediately but when they owe you it's 7 days to wait for your money.

03 Sept 2026, 12:34You are in breach of contact in quoting an incorrect statement in the first place, that breach allows me to make a decision as to whether I should continue with your company, it's expected that your statements reflect the actual amount a customer owes you for services rendered, which you didn't do and that is the origin of the credit amount that you now owe me, since the credit could have remained in my interest bearing account, I could have earned interest or could have utilized the funds elsewhere, I have just got off the phone with the person who is supposed to escalate the payment of my money back to me, she wanted proof of payment which was already sent to customer service email and proof of payment on the 15th of March. The way in which you are dragging your feet about this is rich from a company that insists on prompt payment for services rendered. This consulted ( the last one) gave me her email address which we verified 3 times was incorrect and had i not remained on the call, the email still would not have gone through. At 14:00 today I will go public on social media about my complaint, even should you respond i reserve my constitutional right to freedom of speech and my rights as a customer in terms of consumer protection act to declare your poor service and warn other customers.
