REPORT CELLC, BAD TREATMENT

Dear Peter I bought a contract phone from CellC in 2019. Last year in December I got my bonus at work so I called them to ask for the settlement balance so I can pay it in full and close the account. That should be on their phone records. They told me it R1800 that I needed to pay for my account to be closed. After 4 months I received texts and calls from their legal services which is SSDA that I was owing R2000 and when I called CellC they denied ever saying that my account was paid off. They said if I don't pay that amount I will be blacklisted. I even ask for call records that confirmed that their consultants said I had paid off the account but they refused to give them to me. I ended up making an arrangement with SSDA to pay that amount in debit orders of R200. Recently I called again to ask how much is remaining so I can pay it in full and close the account. SSDA notified me that I should call CellC because my account was handed over. When I called CellC center their consultants told me that my account is fully paid I should send an email asking for a paid up letter. I sent an emails numerous times. On 22 December 2021 I received a call from one of the NDS consultants on behalf of CELLC (I have proof of the sms they send with the amount and the banking details) claiming that I am still owing R1612 to CellC. The lady assured me promised me that as soon as I pay that amount my account will be closed and I will get a paid up letter. I paid the same day R1650 (I have a receipt). I then received an email from Cell collections that they receive the money but I should continue paying. When I call their offices my calls gets cut off and when I send emails they reply saying that I must send settlement letter. I don't know where to get that settlement letter from because all their consultants keep on saying they can't help me and give me different numbers to call but those numbers don't work. Isn't their job to give me a paid up letter. I had a contract with other mobile companies, once you settle the account they send you a paid up letter with no problem. I am just a customer where must I go around looking for a paid up letter. I have written to NCC but unfortunately they are currently closed. All the above information, their call records can prove. Anyone who can help please. Other than that I will have to pay for lawyers to assist me.

Thank you Peter
