Renewal of data contract without my consent.

I have a data contract that was supposed to have ended last month in October 2023. That contract was renewed without my consent and I was charged almost double the price end of October. I learnt about this When I called Cell C customer service. I then requested to have the contract cancelled, I was told I was going to be charged a penalty fee for early cancellation of about R3000 +. Cell C please do something about this. I would like to get a refund for the money debited from my account please.
