Refused to be assisted because I’m buying a SIM card

I went to do an eSIM at CellC Westgate Mall. I got there at 15:50 and I found 3 ladies there. I then greeting and ask to do an eSIM, the one who assisted me told me that they were doing banking , she asked if it was a new sim or old sim , I told her it’s an existing number and I advised her that I will be paying with my debit card and she told me that I must come in 30 minutes before to do an eSIM. I then asked here how long does it take to do an eSIM she told me it’s takes 15 minutes. Now I’m looking at the time it’s 10 minutes before knock off, their doors are still open and the can’t assist me with an eSIM. Would 5 minutes off their time killed them , just because I was buying a sim they didn’t want to assist me ? If I was buying an iPhone should I have got the same treatment?
