Refusal to cancel contract
I took Data contract with Cell C couple of months ago. When I took the contract I asked number of time on that call if I can cancel at any given time, and I was told yes as it is a month to month contract. Now when I request to crancel I am told that I still have 11 months to go before I can cancel. I no longer need their service. Why should I be obligated to stay on a contract I no longer need?
