Query on resolved
My last complaint was not resolved to my delight because Cell C did not consider that they did not assist me when I emailed them on 14 July 2020 ( ref no ***). They are only going to cancel my accounts with effect end of October. We spoke on the phone yesterday on 01 October with Theodora but I have not received the email she promised ( reference no ***).
Here was my July email: me To *** Jul 14 at 2:43 PM Good day
Kindly assist me with cancellation of my 2 contracts. I have been unemployed since 2017, when I resigned to continue with my studies. I have been unable to make payments on my 2 contracts since then. I made payment arrangements which I am unable to keep without any steady income. My concern is my bill keeps on going up and I am unable to pay it. We are living on my husband's income, which is hardly enough. My husband and I are on debt-review and that is the only way we have managed to survive and pay off whatever debt was under our names.
What are the possible solutions available for someone in my position? Please help.
My contact details are ***, *** and email address ***.

Why wasn't I assisted at this point? Did I have to first expose Cell C on Hellopeter.com for them to help me? Even July 2020 was not the first time I tried to ask for help because I have been unable to pay them since end of 2017. If my calls to Cell C are studied, Cell C would attest to the fact that I have been asking for assistance with my account for a long time, while I was owing around R5000. I am really disgruntled at their lack of urgency and consideration.
Thank you for contacting Cell C.
We apologize for the unpleasant experience.
Our team will be in touch to provide assistance.
