I upgraded my contract in Jan 2018 and took out an insurance in Feb 2018, which to my knowledge was activated and billed for. Again in Sept 2019 I upgraded on a different contract, I later received an SMS notification informing me that my insurance has been terminated when I did not cancel any insurance and the upgrade was for a different device and not the one I had insured. I then called Cell C to enquire, but was redirected to C-Surance, Csurance could also not assist and informed me to call the call Centre to request a statement so to verify if I'm being billed for the insurance or not as they do not have access to my billing information. Again I called the call Centre to obtain more information, I was then informed that the insurance was loaded on my device which was ****** in December 2017. So it was all so confusing to me, I asked the call centre agent to pull my application, she then told me that she has no access to the application form and that I should call Csurance directly to enquire. I explained to her that I do not have the time to be phoning around and that it was really exhausting. I called Csurance on a Saturday, gentleman could not help me, said he has limited access and that supervisors were not in duty and that I should call though on Monday, like I can't do this anymore. At no point did anyone offer to investigate and come back to me, I'm employed and very busy at work during the week and the only time I know I can dedicate towards resolving this mess is on a Saturday however supervisors are not at work over weekends... My insured device needs to be repaired but now I'm being told my insurance has been cancelled and that a lost device was covered. Can someone please please resolve this confusion and give feedback.
Regards Sonto
