Promised to update my account within a hour

Hi I was handed over to Norman Bissett and Associates Attorneys by Cell C for non payment of a contract phone.After contacting NBA attorneys I paid the account in full in March this year,so when I needed a new phone I approached Cell C The Bridge in Port Elizabeth for a new contract.The consultant informed me my account was handed over to legal dept and was still as unpaid reflecting on their system,so I cannot be helped with a new contract.The consultant phoned Cell C legal dept,explaining that I did pay the account in full and they requested me to get a paid up letter from NBA attorneys and e-mail it to them with a copy of my ID,I did that and the consultant mailed it to [Email Removed] as per the legal dept instruction.A guy called Dinani or Dimani from legal dept whom I spoke to over the phone on friday 27 March at bout 10h30 promised me that once they received that documents my account will be updated and the block on my account removed and I will receive my contract the same day,within the hour was his exact words.It did not happen and I went back the saturday and the block was still on my account.PLEASE HELP,or should I just go to another network provider????
