Prepaid Number Permanently Disconnected

My prepaid number was permanently disconnected after I lost my simcard. When I wanted to do a sim-swop I phoned customer care they said to go to a store as the number has not been used for more than three months went to the store stood there for more than an hour just to get to the front of the line to be told they are offline..... Went back again to be told the number was now PERMANENTLY DIACTIVATED and there is nothing that can be done.

I NEED this number as a matter of life or death as it's the ONLY way for me to do password recovery for my online accounts I have been locked out of.

I phoned the technical department just to get the same line that the number had been disconnected and cannot be recovered.

I need a solution to this!!!
