Poor Service again
Cell C ha done it again, can't believe it and I now suffer the consequence that is to follow. I opened a contract with cell c 2 years ago and provided me current address details and banking details. All was fine and debit orders went off. I at some point change my package plan to a data only package and it seems after that all hell broke loose. A while after changing the plan I went to cell c as I needed a proof of address for SARS purposes. I found that the address captured was an address that i moved from 18 years ago along with the work email address of the company I worked for at the time. Bare in mind, I had a contract with cell way back then which i stopped having eventually. back to now, I then provided a consultant at a cell c store in alberton city mall to update it as I needed it changed. I left the store thinking it was sorted. I now found out that the address was not updated because I requested for a statement and on the cell c app found that it still had my old work email. When I received the statement, to my surprise it showed that the address is still the way old one and worst of all no debits has ran but I was allocated my monthly data ever since which made me believe that all is in order. So this has now put me in a bad ITC review as I want to apply for a vehicle and since cell c messed up, I cannot do this. I was in high spirits to upgrade next month but doubt this can happen and probably would found out next month that I can't. I don't know how will they expect me to pay the outstanding funds and refuse to be at fault for this and if they cannot assist me with this, I will take legal route cause they are messing up for a second time. My ignorance to take up a contract with them again has led me to this major problem. I called their call centre from work and a very understanding and kind lady transferred me to their legal desk, and needless to say I waited on a line until I could not do so anymore. Can someone contact me to get this matter resolved.... Trust me when I say I will not pay for a mistake that is not mine, get that in your head before calling me..........

09 Mar 2019, 09:26I hope it will. I don't mind us getting to an agreement in me paying the outstanding funds as I do not plan to end up on ITC. I'm open to a payment plan on one condition and that is for me to be allowed an upgrade as I planned to do it next month and then perhaps pay R500-R600 monthly to make up for the outstanding fees (it must b e debit order). I was and is interested in the iphone 7 or 8 plus device as I currently have an iphone SE. If this problem did not arise, I would have been up to date with payments and could be having an update next month.

13 Mar 2019, 16:00Moses called again and the feedback is that their Upgrades desk is unwilling to aid seeing that their staff who deals with the migration of packages messed up. They say I need to check my account. I ask why would I if every 25 debit order sms's go off and at the 1st of each month my data allocation is provided, why would I think there is a problem with the account. THey can't help me, so I will ensure that the remaining funds I owe for the future months will be paid but will not pay the outstanding fund over R5000. I have send for assistance with the ombudsman now and will also seek legal advise. Thank you Moses and the other departments that tried to assist. See you in court those who refused assistance.
