Poor Promotion Practice

Cell C advertised 100gb data for R100 - for 3 days [1-3 October]. I phoned their number at 10:25 this morning ...no answer. 5 other subsequent calls ended with the same result. Went to the offices in La Lucia only to be told the allocated stock [500 preloaded sims] was sold out. <br> <br> What peeved me was that there was not a single Cell C staff member in attendance. The shop was deserted and this was at 14:35. We were helped by the security guard in attendance who apologised for the lack of service. He did not know where the staff nor the manager was when I enquired, Were the staff in hiding and the security guard beefed up to take the fall?<br> <br> He seemed to know a lot about the special with the store allocation
