Poor coverage - no point having a cellphone
Cell C's coverage is shockingly bad. Even in urban areas I very often find that people can't contact me via SMS, call or whatapp. The worst part is that the phone doesn't give you any indication that you've lost coverage, which means that clients and colleagues might be trying to get hold of you while you have no idea. Once you get coverage again you have to restart your phone to receive messages and calls again.

Yes Cell C will offer you great deals and their client service is okay, but there's no point in signing with Cell C if they don't have sufficient coverage, because it defeats the purpose of having a phone. Unless Cell C is willing to buy out the months I have left with my contract with them, I don't want them to contact me. The only solution is to switch to a different service provider.
