Please check your cancellation phone number

I have been trying cancel the data contract and migrating to prepaid. I have been trying to call the cancellation phone number (084 143) but it keeps dropping calls. I have also called several times on 084 145 and ask the consultants to help me connect to the cancellation department (after several long menu selection and verification) but it just says "the number you have dial does not exist". One of the consultant even says that it is due to the strike and it should be back today. Please can someone from Cell C check if your line works? This is very frustrating!
