Phone technical issue

I visited Cell C store at Westgate mall and I spoke to Mandla regarding my phone that had no service for 3 days. I took a contract phone in August 2022 a Samsung A73 5g, its not even 2 years old but Mandla told me it's too old that is why it's not working and that I am up for renewal so I must just take another phone. How can a phone that I am still paying be too old to work and why was I not told that it will stop working after some time? I asked him and he said I must refer to my contract. He was very rude and insensitive because Cell C debits R515 every month for this phone and they don't even care about that I must just take a new phone and continue paying. The money I am paying is not important to them. I am hurt by the service I received from Cell c.
