Phishing - or some other **** - Or ***** take your pick?
“OTP number: ******xx. Your Cell C contract is almost approved. Please call 084 151, option 1, if you did not apply. Cell C.”
When i contact the number, option 1 is not a valid option and i cannot get through to an agent.
What is going on here CELL C? is this a marketing gimmick to get details?

16 Nov 2020, 13:14I have tried to contact Cell C on their numbers only to be passed around and not assisted. Latest is giving me a phone number *** which is not working currently. Really bad service and i can happily say i am glad i am not a customer. When telling the agent i could not hear her, she just tries to keep talking. Then said i have had a contract with Cell C, which is not true. WoW

17 Nov 2020, 11:14 Gooday, I have just received notification that a Credit check was done on my account by Cell C yesterday. I need to be contacted and have this resolved. This is ***** and if any account is granted in my name, we are going to have problems, because i have have tried to warn you CELLC, besides the fact this is ********** activity. I want a notification from CELL C to say nothing will be done in my name. Yesterday i was told nothing was in my name, yet a credit check done on me by your company now.
