Payments made but profiles not updated

I have paid up my account with Cell C that was on contract and migrated to prepaid. I recently received my credit report and find that it states that I have to accounts with cell C and they have balances outstanding. I only ever had 1 contract with cell C. Where the 2 accounts come from, I don't know and would like some feedback on this. Also why have they not updated their records. i now have an adverse credit rating because of this.
