Paying a contract for what?

<p> So I have been without service on my phone since Monday 12/09/2016. I pay about R300 for my contract each month. So if I am without service, I might as well not pay for my contract let alone have a phone.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have contacted the Customer Service Centre, got a case number, and gave them my office number as an alternative contact number to update me on this matter. I call again today, then the 1st consultant puts me through to the wrong department. I eventually get to the correct department, give them my case number, and they inform me that they have tried to contact me but were unable to reach me. The consultant gives me the number where they contacted me, which is the number of my deceased father which is inactive for about 5 years already. This consultant tells me she will escalate a new case to the Network department, I said no, why do you want to open a new case??? I give her my work number as an alternative number again.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am waiting for their call.</p> <p> </p> <p>My point is, why pay for a service when you cannot even use it????? SO pathetic.</p>
