Pay for your SIM swap!

Have 2 cellphone contracts with Cell C for over 2 years now, Lost my SIM . Upgraded recently and received a new device hassle free. The problem started when I wanted to do SIM swap to my old number.I was told I have to pay for this service. I feel this is daylight *******,******* at its core!I am giving Cell c business by just being a subscriber. Why should I pay more for taking my business to them(Cell C)?

Derrick from Cell C contacted me, tried to explain the logic and business sense behind this matter. My query is not satisfactorily resolved as he continuously outlined the similarities between Cell c and the banks. "If you loose your bank card you pay for a new one." This is not what I expected. When I took up these contracts, this clause about paying for a lost SIM was not disclosed to me. (You can go back to the recorded audio when I took up these contracts...that's if you do record like you always say). This is total misrepresentation. I will not leave this matter until I get an adequate redress. What happened to "The power is in your hands"? Right now I feel like "The power is in your hands Cell c, not my hands'"
