Pathetic

I needed to have my phone sent in to be repaired and what an ordeal this has been. Firstly I was told by Brandon at Cell c at Loch Logan in Bloemfontein on Friday the 19th of August that I had to complete a form to send to the insurer and they would arrange to have the phone collected, only to then receive a reply from the insurer letting me know that I had to take my phone into the store to be collected, so I had to go all the way back there for no reason on Monday the 22nd. I handed the in the device and was told that it would be sent out. The phone was subsequently only sent out on Thursday the 25th due to the lockdown on Wednesday the 24th? That was on the Wednesday when they had it since Monday. I have been awaiting this quotation until today the 7th of September where I have followed up almost everyday to enquire if this quote has been done and receive a generic reply yesterday telling me that the claim is being processed and no mention of my query at all, very unprofessional. I called cell c insurance now only to be told by Juda at that the quote has only now been generated because they had to wait for a technician to be appointed to look at the phone, AFTER 10 WORKING DAYS! Are you serious?!?! According to the terms I signed, the phone should be returned to me within 12 working days. He told me that I should follow up on Friday to check the progress of the repair. The first problem with that and its what they mentioned various times is that I have to follow up, they can't even keep their clients updated or are simply just forgetting about the device. Secondly, by Friday it will be 12 working days which is when I am supposed to receive my phone. What happens now Cell C, you guys are in breach of contract. I asked to speak with their manager now and was told they were busy and wouldn't even give me the managers name which is quite redundant as when I eventually get a hold of whoever is running that circus, I will ask their name in any case. He said I should call back to see if the manager is free. Absolutely pathetic service all round and I'm shocked as to how you guys are still in business. I am tired of trying to do their job for them. I would like for someone to contact me asap.
