Overcharge for products not asked for
I called Cellc the 30 November 2017 to increase my limit on my open line contract number ********** to add a recuring data bundle total 10GB. The representative advised that she will have to first increase my monthly limit which I agreed upon as I just needed data for that day. I too advised her that I will cancel the data bundle before 24H00 on the 30th November 2017. So that I will only pay for a days usage. When i contacted them the evening to cancel my recuring data bundle it was said that the representative had app**** a once off 10GB data bundle which I was billed for R599.00.
I then explained and said that all the calls are recorded she need to escalate the matter.
A Cellc representative called me today 06 December 2017 to advise that I asked for a once off bundle as she listened to the call recording.
I am not taking the fall for the representatives fault that they did not do their work correctly.
The call cut and she never called back.
I told her on the phone that she needs to get copy’s of the call recording so that I can’t take it to my attorneys to have this looked at. Because I’m not going to be held responsible. She said that I will have to go to Cellc to listen to it which I’m not going to do. Everything call recording should be made available to their customers upon their request. It is a legal binding contract that should be available to the customer but clearly not going to happen.
Please kindly could you assist.
