OUTRAGED...CELL C MISLEADS AND OVERCHARGES
i am outraged at the amounts coming off my account to cell c. i have a data contract as well as a voice contract. Firstly, im pretty sure that 2 years ago when i took out my pinnacle 150 contract it was around R159 and the past months i noticed my account going up to way over R200. i then did an upgrade on my cell to a top up on 12/07/19. i was told that i would still pay the pinnacle amount until the contract ends but i would immediately have the top up benefits of the upgrade. i chose the contract for R229, i also cancelled my data contract around 8 /07 and i was told that my last data payment will come off on 31 July and if i use any data after that until the 8/08 then i will be charged, so i didnt use any data after 31/07. i then took out R129 data contract. I checked my bank statement and saw i was charged over R300 for the voice and over R400 for the data contract. i called in and the agent was very inefficient and rude. she said she would send me the bills so i can go through it and i asked her to hold on a second and then she put the phone down. what she did say was the R229 is ex vat...this is insane...who ever advertises something ex vat?? i find this to be very misleading and frustrating. another thing is the new free minute structure...1 hour any network and 2 hour cell c calls? who knows so many people on cell c to use up that airtime? i have been with cell c a few years now and after this i feel like going to another network seems Cell c giving way less than what they are getting..seems *********....i would never recommend cell c. i would like someone to contact me but first look at my statements of at least 6 months and then call me with reasons why these amounts are so high.
