Outgoing calls blocked

I have been unable to make outgoing calls from my Cell C number since the 16th Ocotber 2016, having had a contract with Cell C since about mid June 2015.

On the 16th October I received a sms from Cell C stating that I had reached my limit and outgoing calls were blocked/suspended and my bill for that month would be R949. I queried this with the call centre who told me that I had exceeded usage on my Data bundle (a whole 100mb) which I never use as I do not use my cell phone for internet, Facebook or emails. After a lengthy explanation the person transferred me to their technical department. At this point I was also not receiving incoming calls and when people called me the calls were being answered by a stranger and when questioned the call was dropped by that person. No amount of explanation from me that this was not possible helped in any way in resolving the huge bill or the outgoing call issue. They did however give me a process to follow to re-activate my incoming calls, which I ahve had to do several times. So I left the matter with them for investigation and in the hope that the matter would be resolved by the end of October 2016. On the 1 November 2016 by 12 noon I received the same communication from them and my outgoing calls were blocked again. I called their call centre again, went through the entire explanation again and the technical department then opened 2 cases - 1 to do a data validation - same reason that I had exceeded my data bundle even tho' I had not even used my phone that morning yet) - and the other to investigate possible "sharing of my number" a "cross over of numbers" to use their terminology. No resolution, but another month without being able to make outgoing calls. Lo and behold doesn't exactly the same thing happen at 12h25 on the 1st December 2016. This time I had managed to make a few calls and Bam! no more outgoing calls. I called again quoting the reference numbers and case numbers - and all I ever get is "this is not possible unless your sim card has been ****** or lost or someone else has acess to your phone" I explain that none of these scenarios exist as I have by sim, my phone is with me at all times and no-one has access to it. They insist that this is impossible. I then decide to print my itemised billing from August to date and do a line by line check of numbers called and debited to my account. I find 13 numbers I do not recognise and call them from a prepaid vodacom number. Don't know these people. at all. I establish that they are dialling my number to contact a person by the name of Mpho Elizabeth - never heard of her! I then go to visit a newly opened Cell C office close to me (opened on the 30 November 2016) and speak to the Manager there - who was rude and unhelpful and again I get "what you are saying is impossible as you have the sim card in your phone" - basically what he and the others were saying was I was lying!! I have posted my complaint on their FB page and suddenly get a response asking for my cell number so they could investigate. I then get a message to say they have called me without success - hello!! - although no missed calls appear on the logs of either the number in question or my prepaid vodacom number! I respond to an email sent to this effect. Eventually someone calls me yesterday and I go through the whole explanation again only to be told they are trying to understand but what I am saying is impossible I must have made those calls and used the internet data. The lady from yesterday undertakes to call me back in 10 minutes - that was at 15h28 yesterday and I have not heard from her again! I am now going into December without the ability to make outgoing calls yet again - over Christmas - preventing me from contacting my family and children overseas during this festive period! 2 of the persons that warrant mentioning for their refusal to understand and assist, and just plain rude attitudes is Lindo (call cente KZN) & Jodi (Branch Manager in Oakfields). I also use this phone for communication with my bank and business clients! How embarrasing to have to send Whatsapp messages to my clients to ask them to call me because I cannot call them - I then explain do share my experiences with Cell C with themBesides the R949 Cell C bill debited to my bank account I have spent a further R400+ on prepaid airtime in october & November and to date R280 in December. Cell C service is disgusting and the attitude of their staff unacceptable....but threaten to place a stop payment on their debit order and the attitude is well try that and see how far you get. The problem is they will suspend my number entirely - Cell C doesn't seem to care as they are in control and can cut anyone off anytime they choose!
