Once you have paid your account, you're forgotten about
I settled my account in full on the 28th of October and emailed *** with the proof of payment, whereby they rep**** to say that they would request a paid up letter.
I have sent several emails since and recieve the same response.
According to the National credit act, "Once the default has been paid, the lender has seven days to update their information and inform the credit bureaus of the paid up status".
Should i not receive this letter today, I will contact the Credit Ombud.
