Not a chance
On the 24th of December 2020 I upgraded to the new PG Velvet phone,a few days later I accidentally dropped it at the was a small crack on the screen, didn't really bother me as the device was working fine.
Fast forward to Monday 11 July 2021,my phone just goes off, dead, not charging nothing,I give it some time that maybe it will get back to working but nothing,I went to a cell c to have the device booked in for assessment/repairs to find out what the problem might have been ref no GPPRE416339.
Today 24 July I get an SMS to contact repairs department as a quote has been generated for my device, I call in and I am asked if I have insurance, and then told that the quote is some R4000 I asked what is the problem with the phone and I am told it has something to do with the cracked screen??,no clear answer,I ask about the warranty on the device and still nothing,,I am told.the phone can't be fixed without fixing my screen and that I can't be given a breakdown on what the cost of the screen and whatever machenical issue is,I am really sick on Cell C,a whole R4000 that's more than half the price of the said phone,6 month that's how long I had the phone and I must pay R4000 wow
