No to Cell C

I had 2x data contracts with Cell C for more than 3yrs, they are month to month contracts which I can cancel anytime with a 30 days notice. I wanted to cancel both contracts, to my surprise I'm being told that Cell C made an amendments on November 2021 to all months to months contracts to be converted to 24 months contract and they have only sent sms to their customers.
