NO SIGNAL / NO NETWORK / NO INTEREST

My husband has THREE contracts with Cell C. The last 4 weeks NONE of the numbers work, the phone says no signal / out of network. After numerous calls to Cell C, a Facebook complaint etc, they promised to send someone 'to look' however the one agent did confirm that their tower is 1.3km away from us (useless information considering we have lived in the same place for 6 years and it always worked before), and the tower is "overloaded". So why take their debit order money of close to R1400-00 today BUT HE CAN'T USE WHAT HE IS PAYING FOR?? It makes NO sense! I'd like to warn other patrons against using Cell C in this matter because they clearly cannot handle the amount of customers they sign on. We would love to know how to get out of these contracts as it is just a waste of money - considering he was retrenched a year ago but still has to pay for this????

Good morning Cherie

We apologize for the poor network signal you have been experiencing. We have requested one of our consultants to liaise with our network team and advise on a way forward. Do expect communication.

My husband called Cell C again last week - we still do not have use of the number with all the free minutes on due to "no network / no signal". Despite the new settings they sent. He confirmed he wanted to stop the payments for these contracts because there was no service for at least the last two months. PLEASE BE REMINDED A CONSULTANT DID CONFIRM THE TOWER IS OVERLOADED AND OFFERED NO SOLUTION. The legal team were going to contact him and still have not. He can't see why he should pay so much for services he cannot enjoy. It is a total contradiction to the CPA.
