NO SERVICE DELIVERY
On 11 December 2023 Rasheed Petersen from Callforce contacted me regarding my contracts with CellC. I told him that I am happy with my contracted minutes and only need additional data as the 2GB data is to little for my needs. He proposed that he add 20GB to my contract. He confirmed in writing that my minutes will remain 900 minutes any-net voice bundle recurring and that the data will now be 20GB. Cost were confirmed in writing after our telephonic discussion. on 11 December 2023 I received a SMS that a certain amount of data was loaded after which he confirmed that this was prorata. Suddenly in the beginning of 2024 I got a message to topup my phone as I could no longer make calls. Having an open line this is not suppose to happen. After numerous calls I spoke to a Cell C Manager, Funanani, that promised to look into the matter and return my call. Needless to say I never heard from her again. After 2 weeks a call centre person phoned me to tell me that there is no such package. They will however contact Rasheed/Callforce and discuss and come back to me. I've tried to contact Rasheed without any luck on 19 Feb. Till date no one at CellC came back to me and I remain on a package that I did not sign up for and they don't care.
The matter has been escalated for further assistance, please expect a call from us to assist. Regards

Once again I don't have any airtime according to the voice message when I try to daily a number.
My phone is used for my work and it is very unprofessional to must top-up.
Cell C how can you allow such horrible service from your representatives. Never mind the lack of communication.

I received communication from Cell C whereby they would like to correct the package by doing the below:
Kindly see below a breakdown of the cost if you decide to move back to the old package Pinnacle 2GB: R199 900 Minutes: R199 Add on 20 GB p/m : R599 Total cost: R997 p/m Alternatively on the 20 GB of data you can offer the customer to add the 50 GB that is valid for 6 months for an amount of R500 ,which the customer will pay a once off R500 every after 6 months as looking at the customer's usage, they not using the data that they currently getting that much Then the breakdown for the Pinnacle 2GB, 900 Minutes and 50 GB data Pinnacle 2GB: R199 900 Minutes: R199 Add on 50 GB for 6 months : R500 Total cost: R898 and this can be every after 6 months then on other months customer will pay R398
This is totally unacceptable as the package that was agreed to with Rasheed Petersen was as follow:
900 min Any-Net - R199
20GB Data - R149
TOTAL: R348.00
Who is there right mind will accept what Cell C proposed?
I had 900 min Any-Net on my original package. I told Rasheed that my minutes are sufficient, but that my data (2GB) is not. I use my phone for work and need more data. On this he suggested the above and confirm that this will be implemented. The fact that he/Cell C made a mistake must not be at my cost.
This has now been caring on for more than a month and I need to pick up the additional financial costs (topping up).
I hope that Cell C will solve this and apologize for the inconvenience and struggle they caused.

This has now been going on for a month and the best solution Cell C can give is -
Option 1 20gig Data Top Up 900min added However you wont be able to dial 086/087 numbers
Option 2 Move back to the old package Pinnacle 2gb 900mins added And top up the 20gb Data
Cost: R997 p/m
And this while I was quoted below and accepted below:
900 Min Any-Net
20GB Data
Total cost: R348pm
No restrictions - open line
Surely me, the client, cannot be penalized for Cell C's mistake. Surely good client service will be for Cell C to pick up the difference in cost. In my line of business I would not have had an option but to put the client in the position he/she would've been if I did not make the mistake.
Cell C records all conversations but that is only used to there benefit. If this is not true they would've corrected this long time ago.
