NO RICA ENFORCEMENT

***-000024 from Cell C has reference. I was recently de*****ed by an Cell C cell phone number, I contacted one of the branches to try and get information regarding the holder of the number and was Informed that the SIM was not registered (RICA). I contacted Cell C and was told that they could not assist me. The law clearly states that RICA is to be enforced no matter they firm of customer, private, business, rural, multi user and Cell C has this legislation on their website. I have now been left de*****ed and cannot provide the police with any information because Cell C did not adhere to the law regarding RICA. How easy to become a ******** with no way of tracing/tracking down the perpetrators in our modern day. Cell C also said to me that they cannot and will not assist me any further, pathetic support from an industry that can make a difference to combat crime.
