NO REFUND OF CREDIT BALANCE

Cell C made me pay a R5 000 deposit before they would allow me to roam in Botswana and Namibia. I specifically asked their lady before paying the money whether I would have a hassle getting my deposit back after my trip if I didn't use the service. Naturally, she said that there would be no problem at all. Yes, you guessed it ..... I've been back for a month now and no refund .... just unintelligible voice messages left on my land line and my cell phone. It beats me why the cell phone companies seem to have a competition between themselves as to which one can provide the worst service!
