No original ID, No upgrade !
No ORIGINAL ID = NO new device. Good luck to anyone trying to obtain a cell phone upgrade with Cell C if you can't produce your ORIGINAL ID document / smart card. NO Compromise. In today's times !!! What an antiquated internal policy. Rather than stand in home affairs q's for 6 hours in order to replace my ID book just to get a cell phone upgrade, I'm rather applying for a new contract with a competitor - WITHOUT having to produce my ORIGINAL ID document. Protect yourselves against ***** Cell C but for existing clients why is a drivers licence together with proof of residence, bank statements and salary slips not sufficient ? Get with the times. 1000's of customers already lost due to this issue & I'm sure 1000's more hot on their heels ...
