No contract given even with good credit rating

A few years ago I ran into financial difficulty and was blacklisted. I was a customer with cell c, but could not pay a few things. Now, a few years later i am not blacklisted anymore, have a good credit rating from Transunion with a rating 742, have a steady income from a good company where i have been employed for a year now, and they are very happy with me.<br> <br> When applying for a contract, cost of R499 per month, with a very decent income, I was refused. It seems to me that cell-c keep their own records, something that is, as far as I know, against the credit act. I have been a pre-paid customer with cell c for many years now, and have three simcards with them. I like the products of cell c and am a good customer for them. However, they are not treating me fairly. What is a person to do? Having paid off all the debt, stabilising an income, I get treated like this. If this issue does not get resolved, then I will regrettably be forced to go to another company. Cell c has not suffered, as far as I know, a loss from my side.
