No assistance from cell c
I've been struggling to get assistance from Cell C for about two weeks. I'm a contract holder and currently living in Qatar. At the airport I was told to enable roaming, which I did, but somehow it was unsuccessful and there was no cell C booth for assistance.
Coming to Qatar I've contacted them on Facebook and via email as my sim card does not work and I cannot call. I haven't received any actual assistance besides being told via Facebook that they cannot assist or that I should opt for WiFi roaming, which at the moment I don't have WiFi right now. And my sim is Dead!!
All I need is for my sim to be activated on roaming from cell c's side if possible but I cannot get an actual answer besides automated responses that someone will contact me. Obviously noone get through to me if my sim is off!! Also, suggesting that I contact the call centre seems silly. I can't because, again, my sim is off. And doing so from my new sim will most likely cost an arm and a leg knowing how long one usually waits for an agent to finally answer, and who will most probably just keep on transferring the calls from one person to the other.
I literally just need to have my roaming activated.

Thank you very much for getting in touch with Cell C.
We have received your review regarding International Roaming in the State of Qatar.
Your contract type is a TopUp (Hybrid). We do not have a roaming agreement for prepaid and hybrid lines in the State of Qatar. Your Cell C SIM card will not work while you are there.
Indeed, you can use the WiFi as your network as we have enabled WiFi calling. You will need to activate the service on your device when you are connected to WiFi. It will enable you to receive SMSes and calls.
We apologize for the inconvenience this matter have caused you.
