New sale contract bad service

i am trying to open a new contract with cell c , i am so disappointed i have been a loyal customer with them for years , Paid up all my contract and cancel. Now i am told i did not finish paying my contract previously...But they are legal department just confirm i do not owe anything ... I don't know what cell c sales department see on my records ...Please advise and update your systems.....
