New Contracts - What a joke!

<p>I currently have 2x contracts running with Cell C, for quite quickly few years already. Since my current contract with MSN is coming to an end (which I have had for more than a decade) I want to migrate my number to Cell C.</p> <p> </p> <p>On Friday I contacted the new business department and sent through my documents as I had identified a contract online that would suit my needs. </p> <p> </p> <p>Today I receive a message that my contract has been declined, I contacted the call centre who in turn told me it's a legal / vetting issue. I am aware that about 2 years ago, I had another contract with Cell C, that I helped a desperate friend with and that her last payment bounced. Once Cell C contacted me in regards to this, I sorted the matter our and payment was also sorted out. The contract was also henceforth cancelled. My confusion comes in where, if they look at my past payment record, they have never had a problem with the debit orders and my account is paid diligently. I have attempted to contact the vetting department, but after holding on the line for them for up to 15 minutes at a time, I eventually hang up.</p> <p> </p> <p>I cannot believe that this is how Cell C treats their customers and I am bitterly unhappy! The mere fact that I can't even reach the relevant department to discuss the matter is utterly disgusting. I am actually thinking that I should cancel all of the current contracts I have with Cell C as I am deeply offended that they could treat me like this! Shame on you! </p>
