Never use Cell C as your network

Bought a phone Samsung A10 at Edgars and the phone was ******, i phoned cell c to request ITC number to claim from the insurance they say they cannot help me because even though the sim card that came with the phone was in the phone it was never used, (Dual sim phone). they actually said that there is nothing they can do.
