Never take a contract there!! They will **** you and dig you a hole that you cannot get yourself of claiming that your contract has been renewed so that you continue paying!!! Unprofessional and ********* behaviour.

I took out a contract for WiFi in the year 2021, included was a sim card which contained 50 gigs midday data and 50 gigs night data. The agreement of the contract was for 2 years. Therefore earlier on this year in March, seeing that the contract was coming to an end, I went into the Cell C store to formally terminate the contract before it could be renewed again and I was told by that it would end in July. So now that it is June, I went to the store again and was told that the contract had in fact been renewed already in March and could then only be terminated in 2024 unless a settlement of R2 500 was paid. I am appalled by this situation because there is nowhere where a contract of renewal or any documents confirming this renewal was signed or approved by myself. I have tried several times to call the relevant departments without any assistance. It is 2023 and I would like to terminate this contract as it does no longer fall into my budget and I can no longer afford it as it is putting a strain on my finances. Another thing to note is that there seems to be no consistency and reliability within the staff members at this branch as the guy who had assisted me in March was no where to be found as I was being told these new developments.
