Never ending fight, Cell C

My fight with Cell C is never ending, so my contract expired in July and i didn't want to upgrade because I've just had it with Cell C, so i cancelled my contract, suddenly my Sim was not functional, no longer receiving calls nor texts, then i visited a Cell C shop where i was told that my sim was permanently deactivated and my number will be allocated to the next person or a different network, i don't recall being given an option to retain my number on prepaid, the long and short of the story is that i recently paid my monthly premium and my number is not functioning anyone, this is the same number I've used my entire life, currently applying for jobs with that number, meanwhile Cell C deactivated my Sim. This is my cry for help
