Nearly two months and still not refunded
I made a big mistake by porting from Vodacom to CellC. I thought everything was fine until I had to use the phone at my house and work and realised there is no signal. I had to drive to the nearest Cell phone tower to use my phone and get my voice mails. I then contacted Cell C and they told me that Cell C cannot erect a tower to strengthen the reception signal in my area in the near future AND I will be allowed to pay a cancellation fee of <br> R4186,88. I then paid the R4168.88 on 2 Oct and was told I would have to pay R422,87 at the end of October 2015 for the month of October and that I would then be migrated to Easy Chat on 1 Nov. On 3 Oct Cell C migrated me to Easy chat not honouring our agreement. On 30 November CellC wrongly deducted R4186,88 as I had already paid this amount. After numerous calls and online complaints I am yet to receive my refund of R4186.88. Depending on who you speak to at the call centre, you get different answers. The money for October should also not be deducted as you migrated me in the beginning of October and not in November as agreed. It has been almost two months now! I am tired of promises and I want this resolved Cell C!
