My numbers is registered under someone else's details so I can't do a sim swap and change of ownership

Good day HR Manager

I have been emailing asking for assistance regarding my number ***. Today I went to the Cell c Store at the Grove Mall, I spoke to the assistant manager Jean-Piere and I explained to him about my issue. He said that he cannot help me with the sim swap. The policy does not allow him to do a sim swap for me. He then advised me to email the customer service again and ask assistance to bypass and fix the issue and get my number back.

I have documents including my company invoices that can show I have been using this number for many years. The person registered under my number is a foreign guy with false details. There is no contact number under his profile that can show that my numbers belong to him or not. I believe that is valid enough evidence that proves that the person registered under my numbers does not exist or doesn't even know my number is registered under him.

I don't know what else I can do, even agencies can't help even the store manager are refusing to help me. Can I atleast get the team leader who can help or even the head of the department? I have all the documents that can prove I have been using this number for years. I am not ****ming nor *****ulating Cell c. I can testify to that.

I hope this time around I will get a call from someone who might help me.

I would like to get assistance from the Team Leader. I want my number back or if I change my number I will change the service provider as well. I can't lose the number I was using since 2015 and be fine with Cell c just like that. If I don't get my numbers back, then I won't carry on with Cell c in the near future.

I have alternative numbers ***. I don't want to get a call from an agent. I have done sim swap questions, and I failed twice already. I have documents that can prove that I have been using my numbers for years I can provide if necessary.

As I said before that I did sim swap gave all the information of the number, but I still failed. The best way now is to change ownership to be under me otherwise again I will fail the sim swap questions. I am asking for assistance on that please.

I do not know where to find the person I did say he is a foreign guy with false details, even the store manager from the Grove Mall (Jean-Piere) said the person's details are incorrect. So how am I going to find the person, there's no contact details on his profile?

I believe I'm not the only one that encounter issues like mine and Cell c cannot help us instead they want us to find foreigners to come help with the matter or else lose the number. I have been a loyal customer for Cell c for almost 10 years now and I have done many sim swaps I have never been in this situation that I'm in right now.

I have trusted Cell c with customer care and everything else until I lost my phone with my sim card in it then I find myself in this situation. I can't get my number back that means I have to change number and change service provider also that will help me if I find my self in situations like this one.

Cell c you have failed me dismally I have lost half of my life with that number.

Thanks

Thank you soo much for Cell c and the team as a whole. I got a call from sis Beauty she asked me security questions about my number and I passed all of them then she helped me with sim swap.

Today I will sleep very well knowing that number is back.

Once again thank you soo much to sis Beauty and her team for calling me and Cell c as a whole for trusting and hearing my side of the story.👏
