My Numbers Deleted!!!

10 Sep I called and spoke to agent to change my current cell number and move my original number to my old sim as I will still be using it. I asked her numerous times and she confirmed once my number is amended it will automatically move to my sim. She then advised I need to call accounts or cancel my contract on the original *** number. I called the following morning only to find out that the information was incorrect. Tebogo at Customer care assisted me and advised that my number is no longer active and completely deleted. She advised that within an hour she will call me back but haven't heard of Cell C since then. I need my number back at no point did i advise the consultant that i no longer require my old cell number. I have had too many and too numerous issues with cell C. This is Definitely not on. The number lost is my Business number and All my personal details are linked to that number.
