I called Cell C to have my Cell C account settled as I am no longer able to afford payments on the account. I called and spoke to an agent Lerato. She advised that my settlement amount is R1486.63. I asked her once I pay this amount my account will be settled and closed. She reassured me that this is the case. She then sent me an sms with the amount and banking details. I made the payment immediately and sent proof of payment. I then called back and spoke to Lungile who advised that the payment did not reflect i should call again which is understandable. I then called back today and spoke to a lady named Tebogo very unprofessional and getting extremely irritated over the phone advised that I need to make another payment of R420 to close my account. This is not fair because when calling for a settlement what does that mean? Now they are saying I owe extra its been 2 weeks now still no call. I hate the service but if you owe them money You will receive calls everyday.
