MONTH TO MONTH CONTRACT CANCELATION WITH CELL C A MESS.

I took out a month to month with cell c last year and I explained to the consultant that I dont want a 24 month contract for now I need to be able to get out of it when I want because things are tough financially. Last week when I called to cancel i am told I have to pay cancellation fee, with what money when I cant even afford to pay for this one currently. The consultant I spoke to told me that for training they were told to not allow month to month contracts to cancel anymore must just tell them the terms changed, my question to which today I have no answer is, How do you change terms and not notify the customer to something that concerns my money. I agreed to a month to month contract never a 24 month contact. Cell C are *****es and I am still going to fight for this nonsense
