Month to Month contra

I took a sim month to month contract with CellC. Agreement was I can anytime, when I wanted to cancel they told me I have a 2 year contract. It was changed and I was not advised with no phone call or email. I want to cancel this contract . Cell C is a ****, my friend did say and I didn't listen
