Money making racket

I am so tired of these cell phone companies with their money grabbing Ts & Cs. I was on a two-year contract which ended and have been on a month by month contract since. I phoned to cancel this contract and was told I have to give 30 days notice. Why?? I want it cancelled immediately as the person using the phone has moved overseas. It does not take 30 days to cancel a contract and don't come with the Ts & Cs argument. I have paid to the end of the month it should be able to cancel with immediate effect. This is just a money making racket. You are despicable, I will never use Cell C services again.
