Cell C customer service is poor. I had planned to buy a LG K40 that was advertised and still is on their website. The contract was appealing and when I entered their Somerset mall store the phone was on display. I asked one of the agents to facilitate a contract deal on the K40 whereby he asked one of the other staff member if the phone is still available. They then advised me that the phone has been discontinued. I then asked them why is the phone still on display and advertised on the website, and they then tried to flog me another phone without answering my question. They said I must either buy the other phone or wait for the replacement to the k40.

Cell C has just lost a loyal customer because of this and will be losing a few via bad referral reviews.

As consumers we are protected against invalid or incorrect marketing strategies and this is a huge violation of customer rights in today's day and age.
