Misled

I was approved for a new contract with Cell C 3 weeks ago. I was told that my order would arrive within 5-7 working days, and when I followed up with the Twitter account, it was said that my order was not ready for delivery and that I would get an SMS when it is. I would just like some clarity on this as I should have been told this in advance/at the time of ordering.
