Misleading Upgrade Consultant

In April i was contacted at least 4 times by the Cell C upgrades team as my contract was expiring. After explaining to the consultant (Johnathan) that i do no want to pay more , i finally excepted the upgrade. On all calls i went through the charges in details and i was promised that this is all i would pay.. At no point was i informed that i would have to pay for the old device until that contract ended.End of April I was double billed ( Old and new contract) . I called the Cell C team and after back and forward calls , the query been closed with out a resolution i finally was credited. However the problem was still not resolved as i am still being billed for the old device until end July. I was then told by the cell c customer service agent that the recordings are at the branch i can go listen to it. On the 11th June i went to the Cell C head office branch and met with San Rose. He could not find the calls and requested the calls after nearly 2 hours i left as he said he will call me. A week later and he did not call me so i went back there only for him then to retrieve the calls. After almost 1 hour of waiting the branch closed and i had to leave , he has since called but my query and concerns were still not answered.

Surely this is part of the terms and conditions that must be discussed with the customer during the upgrade call. This was totally misleading, as a consumer i have the right to be informed of all the terms and conditions surrounding the upgrade. At no point on any of the calls was i informed of this.

Cell C must credit the wrongfully charged device fee. I am happy to proceed with the complaint to the CPA and ICASA should this not be resolved.
