Misleading Contract Terms and False Information From Cell C Sales Consultant

I took out a phone contract through Cell C around February–March 2025 for a Huawei Pura 70. During the telephonic conversation, I was clearly told by the sales consultant that the contract would be R720 per month over a period of 24 months, including 2GB of data and 200 minutes per month. Based on that information, I agreed to the contract. After receiving the phone and checking my contract duration on the Cell C app, I discovered that the contract is actually for 36 months, not 24 months as explained to me over the phone. I believe the call recordings and quality control records will confirm what was communicated to me before I accepted the deal. I also specifically asked whether the Huawei device had full Google Play Services and was told that it works the same as a Samsung device with all Google features available. After using the phone, I found that this was not true. The phone does not support all Google functionality as explained by the consultant, which is extremely disappointing and misleading. In addition, I was informed that a specific Huawei Fit/Pro watch would be included with the contract. However, after the phone was delivered, I was told that the watch included was a much lower-spec model than the one originally discussed during the sale process. Overall, I feel that important details regarding the contract term, phone functionality, and promotional items were misrepresented to me during the sales process. I am very unhappy with the experience and would appreciate this matter being investigated properly.
